We focus on making wines that are a unique expression of landscape, soil and climate from where our RockBare grapes are sourced. These are wines displaying brightness of fruit that capture depth of flavour with fine tannins.
Regional Range

It all started with a storm. In late1999, while walking along the beach one stormy spring day, with the dark clouds rolling in over the rising swells of the Gulf St.Vincent, RockBare’s pioneering friends sought refuge under the bare rocks on the wild foreshores of Port Willunga, McLaren Vale. It was Port Willunga - where rugged rocks flank the shore - that was the inspiration behind our name.
A neighbouring vineyard would produce our first wine, a Shiraz. Ever since, we’ve worked directly with family-owned vineyards and growers to produce wines that celebrate the best of South Australia.
